  • Time and Dates are announced after clinics are booked with UFHA

  • You MUST return UFHA calls or you will removed from the list

  • This is strictly a Volunteer program, we ask for your patience

  • We offer transportation with same day surgeries

  • You must fill out our application via link at the bottom of this page

*BEFORE YOU APPLY, please read our policies for our grant program*

2 call policy:

Due to many last minute cancellations and no shows in the past, UFHA has installed a 2 call policy. You will receive a call when we have a clinic date, we need you to return the call even if you can’t make it. If we call you and don’t hear back , you will receive one more call for another clinic , if we don’t hear from you , you will be removed from the list.

Any no call and/or no shows, will be removed. We ask for at least 24 hours notice. Failure to do so may forfeit your spot in our grant program. We hate to have these rules in place but to provide this program we have to.

Application:

The UFHA spay/neuter program is grant funded. This means that funding and spots are limited and can run out at any point. Putting in this application does not guarantee you a spot.

TNR:

TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) pricing will be determined on a case-by-case basis. If you are having a feral cat spayed/neutered, their ear must be clipped. Please call 315-298-4733 for more information

Cancelling policy:

Spots at our spay/neuter clinics are limited and our veterinary providers do not appreciate same day cancellations. We recognize that emergencies happen, but if you get an appointment and need to cancel, we ask for at least 24 hours notice. Failure to do so may forfeit your spot in our grant program.

Picking up:

On spay/neuter days, we do not have a set schedule (since we are working with a clinic), which means there is no set pick-up time. Once all of the spay/neuters for the day are done, we will contact YOU to arrange a pick-up time. We ask that you do not call, text or show up at UFHA throughout the day to ask about pick-up times or wait.
